We cultivate unique varieties of olives in Western Sicily, with the aim of maximizing their sensory characteristics. The main varieties, such as Biancolilla, Nocellara, and Cerasuola, are selected to produce a fruity green oil, with typical notes of unripe olives. Our processing aims to highlight positive attributes such as freshly cut grass, green almond, artichoke, and tomato leaf.

Eco-Friendly Choices: Recyclable materials and sustainable production processes can reduce the overall ecological footprint of the product. In summary, the ideal preservation of olive oil at Terre Tinte is a combination of scientific principles and cutting-edge production practices. Accurate temperature management, the use of vacuum, and the selection of suitable containers are all science-based choices designed to ensure that every drop of oil maintains its freshness and integrity over the long term.

The Bag-in-Box: An eco-friendly type of packaging, with fewer environmental impacts in the production, transport, and disposal than tin or glass. The bag-in-box protects oil from light and from oxygen. It is fitted with a practical tap for pouring and the internal bag empties out without allowing for the penetration of air, preserving the original characteristics of the oil.

BIANCOLILLA

Delicate Medium Robust

Biancolilla, delicate fruitiness: a balanced and slightly sweet oil with a generous fruitiness. The organoleptic profile is distinguished by notes of almond, green tomato, and “grass-leaf,” or fresh-cut grass, which is typical of a green fruitiness. This extra virgin olive oil is made with the Biancolilla variety of olives.

NOCELLARA

Delicate Medium Robust

Nocellara, medium fruitiness: an olive oil with a more intense fruitiness. The organoleptic profile is characterized by notes of artichoke, tomato, and grass-leaf ; a moderate spiciness and a light bitterness. A harmonious olive oil. This extra virgin olive oil is made with the Nocellara del Belìce variety.

CERASUOLA

Delicate Medium Robust

Cerasuola, robust fruitiness: an olive oil with a nice intense fruitiness, with more present bitterness and spiciness. We find again notes of artichoke, tomato, and grass-leaf. Undoubtedly an oil with more character ! This extra virgin olive oil is made with the Cerasuola variety.

BLEND

Delicate Medium Robust

Blend, medium fruitness: an olive oil with a medium fruitiness, in which we find all of the characteristics of our other varieties in a moderated manner. This extra virgin olive oil is made thanks to the balanced combination of the varieties Biancolilla, Nocellara del Belìce, and Cerasuola.
